Can you see that the applique blocks have squares pieced into the corners?
I like the one above … and should try this idea with different appliques. I think I need another seven days in my weeks so there is time to play in EQ8 for more hours.

I like it, though would find the applique repetitive.
The second one is more so, but I still like it.

This is the last design in this project, and I am thinking that this is a good excuse to start a new project. New colours, and new applique! I am thinking that I will replace the leaves with flowers.

Interesting sashing, except that it is not really sashing, it is part of the blocks.

read moreI am not sure how it is the middle of another week … it feels like there has just been a couple of days, but apart from the usual week days we have had a long weekend since the last mid week.
I am not going to pick a favourite this week … I like them all. A very interesting mixture of designs.
The one above is probably my least favourite design, but it is still an interesting design.
Love the fig leaves in this one … perhaps they should all have been fig leaves.
